Boulangerie Hotel Karel started six years ago by Karlijn Beekmans, formerly known as Bar Hotel Karel. The bar included a lunchroom that offered a changing breakfast, lunch, and snack menu. Over the years, Karlijn decided to pursue her love for baking bread and transformed the bar into a bakery. With great success, people now come from far and wide for Karlijn's authentic sourdough bread.

At the Boulangerie, it’s not just bread available; every Thursday through Sunday, you can indulge in fresh treats like croissants, pain au chocolat, cinnamon buns, cakes, or focaccia. Everything in the bakery is homemade by Karlijn, fresh, and seasonal. Of course, a good cup of coffee is also available on the menu.
The boulangerie is open from Thursday to Sunday from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Reservations are not possible!
